Willowbrook Manor – Heritage Garden Restoration & Formal Lawn Renewal
This project focused on restoring the historic front and side gardens of a Grade II-listed manor in York. Decades of neglect had left the lawns patchy, drainage poor, and borders overgrown. Our goal was to revive the estate’s classic English garden character while improving functionality and longevity.
Project Overview
This 400 m² heritage garden restoration in York re-established formal symmetry and lush greenery to a distinguished manor house. Over ten weeks, we enhanced soil structure, installed premium turf, reinstated crisp borders, and introduced heritage-appropriate planting. The renewed landscape now beautifully complements the manor’s historic façade while providing a low-maintenance, elegant outdoor space.
