The Willow Residence

The Willow Residence is a mountain home designed for a writer seeking solitude and inspiration. Located in Aspen’s forested outskirts, the project aimed to create a warm, introspective environment that connects deeply with nature.

We used reclaimed timber, stone, and wool textiles to evoke a sense of grounded elegance. The interior layout prioritizes views and natural light, with large windows framing the surrounding pines and a central fireplace anchoring the living space. A custom writing studio was added with built-in shelving, acoustic insulation, and a skylight for ambient daylight.

This residence is a celebration of quiet luxury and personal retreat, tailored to support creativity and reflection.
